Port vehicle yard at storm’s edge, line of port tractors/tugs in foreground on wet asphalt, container yard and cranes receding, low sun punching through cloud gap and striking vehicle roofs so they shimmer; fine drizzle still visible, surface puddles giving long reflections of crane legs. 24 mm, f/7.1, ISO 100, 1/250 s; circular polarizer used mainly for asphalt/puddle control, not to kill all reflections. Negative: gray haze left uncorrected, over-clarity on vehicles, halos on crane silhouettes, unnatural metallic blues.
